Three men were arrested Wednesday in Davisville, Fla. following a manhunt that included more than 20 law enforcement officers from Alabama and Florida.
According to officers at the scene, an Escambia County Sheriff's deputy interrupted a burglary in progress just after 10 a.m. at a secluded mobile home located off Hwy. 97 just across the Alabama-Florida state line. Officers added that it appeared the men were planning to steal copper from an air conditioning unit outside the mobile home.
The men, each described as white males, were arrested one-by-one after officers with the Century Correctional Institute K-9 unit tracked them down in a wooded area between Hwy. 97 and Greenland Road. The names of the suspects have not been released.
