Lady Devils shutout by Gulf Shores

Escambia County’s Lady Blue Devils suffered their first loss of the season in a 12-0 rout by the Gulf Shores Lady Dolphins.
The Lady Blue Devils (3-1, 1-1) fell to the Lady Dolphins in five innings on a 12-run rule.
Lady Blue Devils head coach William Casaday said his team played well, but did not seem prepared for a team with Gulf Shores’ strength.

Raven Culliver pitched another shutout as the Lady Blue Devils of Escambia County dominated the Vigor Lady Wolves 19-0 in Vigor on Monday.
The Lady Blue Devils (3-0, 1-0) routed Vigor in three innings as Culliver struck out nine batters and surrendered only walked two.
Lady Blue Devils head coach William Casaday said his team played a great game with a good job on defense and the basepath.
Culliver said she just tried her best, and added that the support of her teammates helped get the win.
Culliver and Brooke Belle led the team with three runs each, but all starting Lady Blue Devils scored in the win.
