COLLIRENE - Carrington Allen Pickens, Sr. 40, of Collirene died Sunday, March 15, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Spivey Pickens and his brother, Thomas Rex Pickens III.
Survivors include, his sons, Carrington Allen Pickens Jr., Kenneth Spivey Pickens; father, Thomas Rex Pickens and his sister, Elizabeth Pickens Nelson.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Collirene Community Cemetery with the Rev. Elwood Sims and the Rev. Travis Barnes officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Pickens Family Home 501 County Rd. 9 in Collirene. Pallbearers will be, Rusty Slate, Kelly Bryan, Wyatt Roberson, Mark Dorriety, Joshua Dorriety and T.J. Jarrell.
