Lady Devils crush Lady Jags twice

Escambia County ran their record to 5-3 after crushing the Hillcrest Lady Jaguars 14-4 in game two of a doubleheader on Monday.
The Lady Blue Devils (5-3, 1-2) picked up the win with strong defense and hard-hitting bats.
Lady Blue Devils head coach William Casaday said his team did a good job of putting the ball into play.
Cha’Nae Lyles paced the Lady Devils with three runs scored and a 4-for-4 performance at the plate, which included an inside the park home run.
Raven Culliver went 2-for-4 in the win with two runs scored. Latesha Lee hit 3-for-4 in the game and scored twice.
Manieka Smith hit 3-for-4 in the win with two runs scored, while Tyeka North scored twice and hit 3-for-4 also.
Andrea Jackson had a 3-for-4 day at the plate and scored two runs for the Lady Blue Devils.

Runs were easy to come by for the Escambia County Lady Blue Devils as they trampled over the Lady Jaguars of Hillcrest 18-4 on Monday.
The Lady Blue Devils (4-3, 1-2) showed no trouble in the batter’s box or the base path as they 10-run ruled Hillcrest in five innings.
Lady Blue Devils head coach William Casaday said that his team showed up for the game and played strong softball.
Ashleigh Taylor, Cha’Nae Lyles and Raven Culliver led the Lady Devils in their victory.
Taylor hit 4-for-4 with a home run and four runs scored for ECHS.
Lyles went 3-for-5 in the win with three runs scored, while Culliver hit 3-for-5 as well with a home run and three runs scored.
