FLOMATON - Mr. Teddy Lee “Buddy” Johnson, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Flomaton.
Buddy was a native of Brewton and a resident of Flomaton for the past 40 years. He was retired from CCA after 37 years of service and attended the Methodist Church. Preceded in death by a son, Teddy Lavon Johnson.
Survivors include, his wife of 49 years, Maxine Johnson of Flomaton; his daughter Brenda and Jeff Bell of Flomaton; two grandchildren, Allen Bell and Aaron Bell, both of Flomaton and two sisters, Jessie Godwin and Christine Evans, both of Brewton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, March 25, 200 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas E. Mason Jr. and the Rev. Brian Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Traveler’s Rest cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, Steve Stanton, Larry White, Mikey Burkett, Ronald Coburn, Jason Hart and David Adams.
