ORANGE BEACH – Mrs. Evelyn Shaver, 85, a resident of Orange Beach, and a former resident of Atmore, passed away at her home on April 28, 2009.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Atmore. She was an avid bridge player and fisherman.
Mrs. Shaver is survived by her husband, Lewis Shaver of Orange Beach; son, Brent Shaver and his wife, Pam Shaver of Orange Beach; daughter, Charlotte Kimsey (Mrs. Mel Kimsey) of Atmore; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the United Methodist Children’s Home, 3166 Schillinger Rd. South Mobile, AL, 36695.
