Cougar loves fast cars, AC/DC

Escambia Academy Cougar Will Hendrix is a four-sport athlete with a love for the games he plays, classic rock to keep him focused and fast cars to get his blood pumping.
Hendrix, a sophomore at the Academy, plays football and baseball, runs track and competes on the Cougars’ weightlifting team.
He said that is favorite sport takes place on the gridiron where he is a defensive lineman on the Cougars’ squad.
His participation and future in football is something that drives him when he is playing in a game.
Henrdix said that he stays motivated by wanting to go further than just high school.
That drive is something that helped Hendrix make the “Atmore Advance” All-Area team last fall. Hendrix finished the season with 67 tackles and two quarterback sacks.
Hendrix said his best performance came against one of the Cougars’ rivals at home last year.
Those types of performances could help Hendrix follow through on his dreams of continuing his career.
He said that after high school he wants to attend college and hopefully play football for his school of choice.
Away from the football field, Hendrix takes his classes like any other student his age.
He said that he has one math class in particular that he enjoys because it is different than the other.
In his free time away from school and sports, Hendrix enjoys listening to music and watching movies.
He said his favorite type of music is before his time, and added his favorite song has a great sound.
When it comes to movies, Hendrix has a favorite flick, but he could not just decide on one favorite actor.
He said his favorite movie is full of fast cars, and has one of his favorite actors. He added he also has a favorite funny man.
His love for football runs deeper than anything and shows in his choice of celebrtity to hang out with.
Hendrix said he would like to have dinner with an elite NFL linebacker that is known for his prowess on the field.
