Cardinals destroy PCI-Gray

A showdown between Cal Ripken Minor League teams featured the Atmore Vision Center Cardinals crushing PCI-Gray 14-2 on Monday night at Tom Byrne Park.
The Cardinals started the scoring with three runs in the first inning as Ethan Patacsil, Jaquarius Williams and Shavoris Williams all crossed the plate as the Cardinals took a 3-0 lead.
Poarch got on the board in the second inning with Bily Rolin making it around the bases off a solo home run.
The Cardinals added to their run total in the third inning as Patacsil, Jabryce Hooks, Jaquarius Williams, Joshua Booker and Austin Walker all made it around the base path as the Cardinals jumped even further ahead.
Poarch added their final run in the third inning with Luke Martin hitting a double and scoring off of Jeff Wilson’s double.
In the final inning, Mitchell Faulk, Walker, Patacsil, Hooks, Jaquarius Williams and Shavoris Williams all scored to bring the score to 14-2.
Tigers 11
White Sox 10
The Kirk Insurance Agency Tigers squeaked past the State Farm Insurance White Sox 11-10 on Monday night in a showdown of Cal Ripken Minor League teams.
The White Sox scored first with three runs in the top of the first inning with Chase Bell, Kameron Bowen and Kuron Frye all crossing the plate.
The Tigers pounced back into the game with four runs in the bottom of the inning with Jarrett Nelson, Jackson Breckenridge, Eric McCaskil and Adrian King all scoring runs to take a 4-3 lead.
In the third inning, the White Sox added two more runs with Bell and Kuron Frye each scoring their second runs.
The Tigers added to their run total with Nelson, Breckenridge and McCaskil all making it around the base path.
The White Sox tied the game in the fourth inning with Tyler Wilson and Sean Marshall scoring runs.
In the fifth inning, the Tigers’s Dijon Crenshaw, Nelson, Breckenridge and McCaskil all scored to pull ahead 11-7.
The White Sox tried to mount a comeback as Bowen, Kuron Frye and Ja’maya Frye scored to pull one run short.

PCI Gold edged out a win 9-7 against the Kirk Insurance Agency Tigers on Saturday in a mach up of Cal Ripken Minor League teams.
Poarch started strong scoring four runs in the first inning with Tyler Sells, Justin Henderson, Dakota O’Barr and Cameron Armentor all crossing the plate.
The Tigers scored two runs in the bottom of the first as Jarrett Nelson and Eric McCaskil both scored to pull within two.
In the second inning, Taylor Daughtry and Austin William scored to give PCI-Gold a 6-2 lead.
The Tigers scored two more runs in the third inning as McCaskil and Jabe Dawe crossed the plate to keep the game close.
In the fourth inning, the Tigers pulled tied the game at seven as Nelson, Tristan Kilpatrick and Chance James all made it around the base path.
Poarch pulled out the win in the last inning as Thunder Jackson and Sells both scored runs.
