Braves rout PCI-Gray

LaShaun Robinson went 3-for-3 with two singles, a triple and three runs scored to lead the Alto Product Braves to a 16-2 victory over PCI-Gray Thursday night in Cal Ripken Minor League action.
The Braves started their rout in the first inning as Delarrian Poole, Robinson and Freddrick Flavors all made it around the base path to give the Braves a 3-0 lead.
PCI answered back in the second inning as Corey Bailey and Donnie Ellestad scored runs to help their team pull within one run.
In the third inning, the Braves opened the floodgates as Poole, Robinson, Flavors, Antonio Crenshaw, Logan Stacey, Jadon Tones and Desmond Dirden all scored runs to increase their lead by nine runs.
The Braves finished out the game by adding four more runs as Jared Gibbs, Robinson, Crenshaw and Evan Tatum all cross the plate.
PCI-Gold 18
White Sox 4
Trennon Hamilton scored three runs to lead PCI-Gold to a huge 18-4 win over the State Farm Insurance White Sox in a battle of Cal Ripken Minor League teams at Tom Byrne Park Thursday.
PCI scored first as Hamilton made it around the bases to help his team take a 1-0 lead.
In the third inning, PCI added to their lead as Hamilton, Dakota O’Barr, Tyler Sells, Cameron Armentor, Wyatt Rutherford, Justin Henderson, Jaylon Daughtry, Jacob Harrison and Tanner Jackson all scored runs to give PCI a 12-0 lead heading to the fourth inning.
PCI added to their huge lead in the fourth with Hamilton, Tyler Jackson, Armentor, Rutherford and Henderson all scoring to take an 18-0 lead.
The White Sox finally got on the board in the fourth with Chase Bell, Kuron Frye, Ja’maya Frye and Tyler Wilson all scoring runs.
Tigers 9
Cardinals 1
The Kirk Insurance Tigers whipped the Atmore Vision Center Cardinals 9-1 last Tuesday in Cal Ripken Minor League action at Tom Byrne Park.
The Tigers scored twice in the first inning to take a 2-0 lead as Jackson Breckenridge and Eric McCaskil both made it around the bases to score.
The Cardinals pulled within one run as they scored their only run of the game with Derrick Arnold scooting around the bases to score.
The Tigers added four runs to their total as Sam Smith, Bryant Quimby, Demetrius Crenshaw and Tristan Kilpatrck all scored to make the score 6-1.
They added two more runs in the third inning as McCaskil and Adrian King both scored to increase the Tigers’ lead to six runs.
Jarret Nelson scored the final run for the Tigers in the sixth inning.
Braves 7
PCI-Gold 6
The Alto Product Braves and PCI-Gold battled in a close 7-6 win by the Braves last Tuesday in a battle of Cal Ripken Minor League competitors at Tom Byrne Park.
PCI-Gold scored first to take a 1-0 lead as Tyler Sells cross the plate.
The Braves tied the game in their half of the first as L.J. Robinson singled and got around the bases.
The Braves took the lead 3-1 in the second inning as Antonio Crenshaw and Evan Tatum both scored.
They added to their lead in the fourth inning with Robinson and Freddrick Flavors crossing the plate to make the score 5-1.
PCI fought back in the fifth inning scoring three runs with Wyatt Rutherford, Tyler Jackson and Trennon Hamilton all scoring runs to make the score 5-4.
In the sixth inning PCI added two more runs to take the lead as Tanner Jackson and Tyler Sells crossed the plate.
In their final at-bat, the Braves managed to get two runners around the bases as Delarrian Poole and Robinson scored to help their team pick up the win for his team.
