A former Brewton resident has been returned to Escambia County law enforcement officials to face a pair of charges for sex crimes.
Keno G. Foster Jr., 45, who lists a Houston, Texas, address, was arrested May 22 on a grand jury indictment of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy.
Escambia County Sheriff Grover Smith said Foster was arrested following a grand jury indictment.
Smith said Foster was to have attended a funeral service in Mobile or Baldwin County recently; however, authorities were unable to locate him at the time of the service.
Foster is a former employee of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department, Smith said.
Foster was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center Friday, where he remains on a $25,000 bond.
Details on the alleged crimes and possible victims were not made available by officials.
