A two-car accident at Pinehaven Road and Hwy. 31 occurred around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Dustin Brown was turning left onto Hwy. 31 headed east in his Chevrolet pick-up truck when his car collided with a Honda Civic driven by Railyn Rolin.
Brown said he looked before pulling out and saw no cars coming. He was not injured in the accident.
Both cars ran off the road into the ditch along the side of Hwy. 31 heading east. Rolin's car skidded a few yards before resting on its passenger side.
Rolin was transported to Atmore Community Hospital by Atmore Ambulance and released later that evening, having received no major injuries.
Atmore Police Department, Atmore Fire Department and Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
