Braves crush Sox

The Alto Product Braves crushed the State Farm Insurance White Sox 25-3 Monday night in a battle of Cal Ripken Minor League teams.
The Braves started the game on fire jumping out to a 16-0 lead as Delarrian Poole, L.J. Robinson, Jared Gibbs, Fred Flavors, Jadon Torres, Evan Tatum, Logan Stacey, D.J. Dirden and Deonta Stots all crossed the plate several times.
In the second inning, the Braves added three more runs as Robinson, Gibbs and Flavors all crossed the plate to give their team a 19-0 lead.
They capped off their offensive performance with six more runs in the third inning as Stotts, Robinson, Gibbs, Flavors, Torres and Tatum all made it around the bases again to make the score 25-0.
Chase Bell hit a home run in the bottom of the third to give the White Sox their lone run of the match up.

Poarch-Gray shutout the Kirk Insurance Tigers 5-0 on Monday in a battle of Cal Ripken Minor League teams at Tom Byrne Park.
The teams battled closely in the first two innings as Poarch managed to get on the board with two runs in the second inning as Donnie Ellestad and Billy Rolin crossed the plate.
The 2-0 lead stuck until the fourth inning when Poarch extended their lead by four with Ellestad and Colton Peebles making it all the way around to home.
In the final inning, Poarch added their final run as Rolin scored his second run of the game to make the final 5-0.
