BAY MINETTE - Mr. Bobby Joe Emmons Sr., 53, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009 at a Mobile hospital.
Bobby was a native of Atmore and a resident of Bay Minette since 1980. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his wife, Sandra Emmons of Bay Minette; two sons, Bobby Joe Emmons Jr. of Bay Minette and Ernie Lee Hall of Atmore; five grandchildren, Bobby Joe Emmons III, Cody Dylon Emmons, Ernie Lee Hall Jr., Tiffany Hall and Jonathan Hall; two sisters, Barbara Harrison and Joyce Evans, both of Atmore and 26 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Harrison officiating. Burial followed at the Moyeville Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers were, Lewis Harville, Tony Stabler, Randy Parkemen, Matt Sprinkle, Tommy Bryars, Ben Enzor and George Singleton.
