A one-car accident that occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday sent the sole occupant of the vehicle to the hospital.
Quenton Earl Craft told authorities at the scene he was driving his Chevrolet Blazer east on Woods Road when someone in a blue Nissan pick-up truck, who appeared to be intoxicated, was swerving in the vehicle and forced him to go off the road.
Craft’s vehicle flipped and landed upside down in a ditch. Craft was able to exit the vehicle by himself. He was later transported by Atmore Ambulance to Atmore Community Hospital complaining of neck pain.
The Atmore Police Department, Atmore Fire Department, Poarch Fire Department, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers all responded to the scene.
