PERDIDO - Mrs. Betty Joyce Hadley, 57, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in Perdido.
Betty was a native and resident of Perdido for most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, an employee of Wal-Mart in Bay Minette for nine years and attended the Springs of Life Church.
Survivors include, her husband, Dallas Hadley of Perdido; two sons, Billy and Gina Wells of Perdido and Charlie and Carla Hammonds of Spanish Fort; four daughters, Leigh and Kenneth “K.J.” Johnson of Wilmer, Anita and Andy Taylor of Monroeville, Lisa and Kem Manning of Elberta and Jennifer and Hubert Parker of Perdido; nine grandchildren; her sister, Doris McClusky of Chicago, Ill. and her special friends, Tammy Carpenter of Bay Minette, Sharon Tomlin of Mobile and Wanda Hadley of Perdido.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Lottie Baptist Church with Sister Eula Price officiating. Burial followed at White Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until funeral time Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Lottie Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Sgt. Shawn Wilkerson, Glen Hadley, Larry Hadley, Hubert Parker, Andy Taylor and Jerry Hall.
Petty Eastside Chapel was in charge of all arrangements.
