LAWTON, Okla. - Mr. Matthew Carl Frederickson, 81, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Matthew was a native of Molino, Fla., a former resident of Phillipsville and a resident of Lawton, Okla. for the past three years. He was a WWII Veteran with two purple hearts during the Pacific Theatre and attended the Catholic Church.
Survivors include six sons, Carl Jr. Fredrickson, Pete Fredrickson, Daryll Fredrickson, Lockwood Fredrickson, Phillip Fredrickson and Kenneth Fredrickson; three step-sons, Royce Lamb Diamondhead of Miss., Michael Lamb of Phillipsville and James Lamb of Phillipsville; three daughters; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother, Harry Fredrickson and sister, Merna Loy.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.on Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Hall’s Fork Cemetery. Visitation was held from 12:30 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were, T.J. Thompson, Tim McCullough, Greg Phillips, Devan Bryars, Tom Roley and James Lamb.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC was in charge of all arrangements.
