MSgt. Stephen M. Stabler, USAF, 39, passed away after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his mother Sharon Amelia Stabler and his step-brother Travis Fay.
Stephen was born in Mobile and raised and educated in Walnut Hill, Fla.
He entered the United States Air Force after High School, serving for 20 years as an AMMO Troop.
He enjoyed NASCAR, music and spending time with his family and friends
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth “Beth” A. Stabler; daughters, Catherine Amelia and Tristan Jade Stabler; parents, Judson and Ginger Stabler and his loving siblings Shannon, Ryan, Reigh, Sonia, Scott, Heather, Cory and his loving pet, Sammy, as well as numerous family members.
Visitation was held Friday, June 26, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Rd., N.E. Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Burial followed at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, Fla. at 1:15 p.m.
