FLOMATON - Mr. Solomon Kyles Sr., 76, of Flomaton died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at his residence. He was a retired farmer.
His parents, Adam Kyles and Nancy Kyles preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memories are a loving wife, Mrs. Annie M. Kyles of Flomaton; four daughters, Annie (Eddie) Davis of Century, Fla., Corean (Ronald) Williams of Pensacola, Fla., Tonya Kyles-Stotts of Flomaton, Ivory (Anthony) Kyles-Stallworth of Pensacola, Fla.; six sons, Solomon Kyles Jr., Timmy (Rita) Kyles and Adam Kyles, all of Flomaton; David (Vanessa) Kyles, of Brewton, Dobbie Kyles of Minnesota, Lynn (Alise) Kyles of South Carolina; three sisters, Jane Alice (Charles) Kyles, Mary Alice Peavy, both of Atmore and Georgia Mae Shower, of Century, Fla.; four brothers, James (Ora D) Kyles, AC (Christine) Kyles of Atmore, Leonard Kyles and Leroy (Diane) Kyles, all of Chicago, Ill.; 28 grandchildren; 16 grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, July 11, 2009 at the New Life Baptist Church in Century, Fla. with the Rev. Irvin B. Stallworth officiating. Public viewing was held from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home and his body will lie instate at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be held in the Fairview Cemetery in Atmore with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC of Atmore directing.
