BAY MINETTE - Mr. Clinton “Clint” Aaron Durant, 51, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2009 at a Mobile Hospital.
Clint was a native of Bay Minette, a resident of Stapleton for most of his life and attended the Baptist Church. .
His parents, Lambert “Red” and Hattie Durant and a son, Jesse Durant preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Karen Durant of Stapleton; his daughter, Lindsey Durant of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Logan Durant and Dalton Durant; two brothers, Nelson Durant of Houston, Texas and Byron and Missy Durant of Stapleton; two sisters, Wanda and Mara; special relatives, Kim Anderson, Darrell Lynd, Kellie Hicks and special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewayne Lampkin officiating. Burial followed at White Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Corey Covington, George “Buckshot” Graham, Clyde Singleton, Chad Pritchett, Jeff Cooley and Anthony Cooley.
