A driver in a Saturn Twin Cam traveling south on Hwy. 21 lost control of the vehicle and ran into a power pole in Huxford shortly before 9 a.m. today.
The driver was extracted from the vehicle with the jaws of life. She was taken by LifeFlight to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Witnesses at the scene identified the driver as Penny Black of Monroeville.
Huxford Volunteer Fire Department, Atmore Ambulance, State Troopers, Poarch Fire Department and Poarch Police Department responded to the scene.
