CHATOM- The Rev. Wilson Reynolds, born Jan. 30, 1938, 71, died July 21, 2009 at his residence in Chatom.
Mr. Reynolds was a self employed logger and a retired Preacher. He was a native and Pastor of Indian Springs Holiness Church.
His father and mother, Simmie and Lily Bell Reynolds and a son, Floyd Wayne Reynolds, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Lee Reynolds, of Chatom; son, Carl Ray Reynolds of Chatom; daughters, Bobbie Lynn (Robert) Boyette of Chatom and Mary Denise Thrower of Atmore; sisters, Carrie (George) Smith of Chatom, Doris Grinstead of Gulf Shores, Margaret Stoker of Chatom and Diane Reynolds of New Orleans, La.; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2009 at the Reynolds Holiness Church in Chatom. Interment followed in the Reynolds Holiness Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the Reynolds Holiness Church.
Active pallbearers were Waylon Pace, Justin Pace, Dylan Garrett, Jarred Reynolds, Jacob Reynolds and Nicholas Reynolds.
Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom was in charge of all arrangements.
