ATMORE - Alan Keith Metsch, 64, of Atmore died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 in Mobile.
He was a carpenter, born in San Diego, Calif. on Jan. 17, 1945 to the late Everett Charles and Lola Mae Schindler Metsch.
Survivors include his wife, Faye C. Metsch of Atmore; two sons, William Clay Metsch and wife, Dawn of Loxley and David Alan Metsch and wife Susie of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Melissa Dickinson and husband, George of Ocean Springs, Miss. and Tori Nelson and husband, James of Silverhill; two brothers, Ronnie Metsch and wife, Margaret of Ajo, Ariz., and Ralph Metsch and wife, Marge of Puyallup, Wa.; one sister, Bonnie Metsch of Santa Cruz, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Casey Byrnes, Kimberly Harvell, Brandon Harvell, Justin Metsch, Megan Metsch, Dylan Metsch and Kaylie Metsch.
Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 from the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Reece officiating. Family received friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the First Untied Methodist Church.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
