NOKOMIS - Mr. Bobby Ray Williams, 56, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 at a Baldwin County Hospital.
Bobby was a native of Monroeville and a resident of Nokomis for the past 28 years. He worked at Refra-Chem Linings. He was also a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Janice Williams of Nokomis; two sons, Casey Williams of Bay Minette and Logan Williams of Nokomis; two brothers, Larry Williams of Saraland and Randy Williams of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Mary Barrow of Pensacola, Fla. and one grandchild, Collin Ray Williams.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Welch and the Rev. Chris Pruit officiating. Burial followed at Bryars-McGill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bobby Hicks, Roger Hadley, Pete Powell, Danny Glenn, Steve Hadley and Larry Hadley. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Hadley, Ronnie Hadley, Gary Hadley, Bo Hicks, Cary Hughes and Hank Williams.
Petty Funeral Homes, LLC (Eastside Chapel) was in charge of arrangements.
