Flames ripped through a mobile home in Atmore Thursday morning leaving an Atmore woman homeless.
According to fire personnel on the scene, a fire call was received just after 8:15 a.m. Upon arrival, firemen discovered the mobile home located at 104 Avenue A East engulfed in flames.
Approximately eight firemen responded to the scene to assist in dousing the flames. Atmore Police Department offices and paramedics with Atmore Ambulance were also on the scene.
The owner of the mobile home, which was a total loss, was not available on the scene.
