POARCH - Mr. Clarence Lee Rolin, 67, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 in Poarch.
Lee was a native and lifelong resident of Poarch. He was a good father, a hard worker, always had a smile and attended the Holiness Church.
Survivors include two sons, Eric and Kim Rolin of Booneville and Waylon Rolin of Atmore; his daughter, Janet Welch of Frisco City; six grandchildren, Whitney Warden, Ethan Warden, Coty Rolin, Dillon Rolin, Brady Rolin and Damon Rolin; five brothers, Ralph Pearson of Poarch, Ardis Rolin of Atmore, Pedro Rolin of Sturgis, Mich., Marvin Rolin of Kalkaska, Mich. and Carl Rolin of Milton, Fla. and five sisters, Joyce Philyaw of Huxford, Ethel Walker of Atmore, Eloise Hall of Perdido, Charlene Weaver and Stella Rutherford, both of Poarch.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Ward and the Rev. Steve Breceola officiating. Burial followed at New Home Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Paul Pearson, Daniel Weaver, Greg Hall, Edward Ardis Rolin, Jerry Walker and Thomas Dalryple. Honorary pallbearers were Jack McGhee, Joe Frank McGhee and Dennis Vickery.
