NEW CANEY, Texas – Mr. Daniel Webster Allen, 73, of New Caney, Texas died Sept. 13, 2009 in a Houston, Texas Hospital after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born April 22, 1936 in Dry Springs, Fla. and was a former resident of Atmore before moving to Texas.
His parents, Bobby and Agnes Joiner Allen and a brother, Harold Winston Allen, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Allen; sons, Dwayne Allen, Randall Allen (Angie); daughters, Denise (Tom) Stewart and Danell (Mike) Johle; grandchildren, Crystal, Randy, Travis, Brandon, Rhiannon and Makayla; great grandchildren, Mary Elyse, Randy III and Nicholas; sisters, Molly (Edgar) Norris, Mary (Robert) Morrison, Irene Hoffman, Joyce (Wayne) McGraw and many loving family members and friends. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, Texas.
