One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning just after 11:30 a.m. on Hwy. 21 near RJ's Exxon.
According to witnesses at the scene, the driver of a red Dodge Dakota 4X4 pulled out of Muskogee Inn's parking lot into oncoming traffic and struck a silver Nissan Titan that was traveling north on Hwy. 21.
The impact sent the Nissan Titan sliding sideways in front of RJ's where it struck a mile-marker post and turned onto its side.
Atmore Ambulance transported the driver of the Titan to Atmore Community Hospital. The status of the driver, a white male, is unknown at this time.
