ATMORE - Marie Virginia Riley Presley, 84, of Atmore died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 in Atmore.
Mrs. Presley was previously employed by Vanity Fair Mills and was a homemaker. She was born in McKenzie on May 30, 1925 to the late John Claude and Elma Watford Riley.
Her husband, Maxie Lee Presley Sr. and a brother, Joseph Riley, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Maxie Lee Presley Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Samson; one daughter, Rhonda Marie Burtnett and husband, Bob, of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Mack Riley and wife, Mary Lou, of Silverhill; one sister, Leathell Varner of Andalusia; four grandchildren, Leigh Anne Murphy and husband, Dan, Heather Ellsworth and husband, Bryan, Hannah Lara and husband, Randy, and Lori Beth Walker and husband, Josh; six great grandchildren, Cora Lynn and Savannah Jenkins, Adalyn, Emma, Lucas and Aeva Ellsworth and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with son, Maxie Lee Presley Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Family received friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
