Want a good time and support the arts at the same time? The Atmore Chamber of Commerce is offering the public the opportunity to do just that.
The 18th Annual Williams Station Day will take place on Oct. 24, and it attracts some great talent. Show your support by becoming a Patron of the Arts.
The Patron of the Arts is a program in which citizens commit to spend $100 with the artists and crafters. Drop off your $100 check made payable to Patron of the Arts at the chamber office right away at 501 South Pensacola Avenue.
Every patron who makes the commitment will receive an invitation to the Patron’s Party, which will be held at Creek Indian Enterprises at 100 Brookwood Road on Friday, Oct. 23, the night before Williams Station Day.
Patrons can pick up “script money” and a patrons’ ribbon from the chamber booth at Williams Station on Saturday morning, Oct. 24.
The “script money” can be spent with artists or crafters just like real money. Patrons will also get an opportunity to award their patron’s ribbon to their favorite artist or crafter.
The artists and crafters will complete the process by trading in their “script money” at the chamber of commerce booth at the end of the day.
Call 251-368-3305 for additional information and show your support for the City of Atmore.
