BREWTON - Mr. Bobby L. Reynolds, born Feb. 16, 1944 formerly o Skipperville and a 15 year resident of Brewton passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 in the loving presence of his wife and children following a brief illness.
A four-year veteran of the USAF, Mr. Reynolds continued his 39-year career as a radar technician as Chief of Navigation Aids at Fort Rucker. After his retirement in 1995, he pursued his love of woodworking and in recent years became an active volunteer with the Greater Brewton Habitat for Humanity. He was a regular attendee of First United Methodist Church of Brewton. He was a member in good standing of the Clinton Lodge #287 of F&AM in Skipperville.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife Evelyn of 45 years; his son, LTC Robert (Carol) Reynolds of Ft Stewart, Ga. two daughters, Becki (Terrence) Breckinridge of Brewton and Heather (Benny) Boyd of Columbus, Miss.; eight grandchildren and friends too numerous to name; a brother, Frank (Priscilla) Reynolds of Geneva, Ohio and sisters, Rosemary (Ron) Halman of Brentwood, Tenn. and Debbie (Bob) Carraher of Geneva, Ohio.
Services will be held at Williams Memorial on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a service to follow at 6 p.m. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at Lower Lott’s Creek Cemetery in Bulloch County, GA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Greater Brewton Habitat for Humanity in his memory.
