Northview defeats PCA on senior night

The Northview Lady Chiefs picked up a huge victory to send their seniors out on a high note sweeping Pensacola Christian Academy in their final home match of the season on senior night in Bratt, Fla.
The Lady Chiefs won three straight matches over PCA to improve to 7-15, 4-4 on the season.
The Lady Chiefs won the first game 25-20 and crushed PCA 25-16 in games two and three.
The three Lady Chiefs’s seniors all contributed to their team’s victory.
Senior Caitlin Hall played a monster game in her final match in Northview’s gym. Hall recorded 21 assists, three aces, two kills and one block in the win.
Senior Angela Rodriguez scored five kills, four aces, one block and one assist and senior Danielle Martin had two assists and one kill.
Junior Shawna Montgomery led the Lady Chiefs in kills with 10, while recording three aces and two assists.
Junior Shaniqua Jones recored five kills and two blocks in the win.
Lady Chiefs freshman Ashton Gibbs scored three aces and two digs in the match.
The Lady Chiefs junior varsity squad also swept PCA routing them 25-12 in both games.
The Lady Chiefs next game is at Escambia (Fla.) High School on Oct. 19 with the junior varsity playing at 5 p.m. and the varsity starting at 6 p.m.
