Northview strong in road victory

The Northview Lady Chiefs stayed focused and pulled off a comeback victory Monday at Escambia County (Fla.) High School.
The Lady Chiefs (8-15, 4-4) lost the first two games of their match, but rallied in the next three to pick up the big victory.
In the first two games, Northview lost 19-25 and 15-25.
After Game 2, the Lady Chiefs came together and crushed Escambia 25-10 in the third game. They followed that with a 25-21 win in Game 4 and a 15-8 victory in the fifth and final game.
The Lady Chiefs were led by Shawna Montgomery and Angela Rodriguez. Montgomery recorded seven kills, four aces and one block, while Rodriguez had six aces and two kills.
Caitlin Hall supported her team by scoring 12 assists, four aces and one block in the victory.
Raylin Spence had three aces, four digs and one kill, and Shaniqua Jones had five kills and two aces.
The Lady Chiefs next game is Thursday at Tate High School.
