Atmore has a new spot to stop for a tasty treat whether it is a lunch special, hand-dipped ice cream, New Orleans-style shaved ice, milkshake or sundae.
Monday, the new sweet treat spot, Frost Bites opened its window to serve residents of Atmore if they need a good meal or something to curb their sugar fix.
Terri Waller and Jim Fulford, owners of Frost Bites, have located their business in what was previously known as Chilly’s on Hwy. 31.
Waller said she and Fulford decided to open Frost Bites because of the success it could have. She added they also wanted a place for children to be able to get tasty treats.
Since opening Monday, Frost Bites has seen success with all of their selections including their lunch special they serve from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., which Fulford serves to anyone looking for a good meal during their lunch break.
Waller said even though she might be partial, she thinks that Fulford is the best cook she knows. She added that the dishes served at Frost Bites are not served anywhere else that she knows of.
Frost Bites is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and they stay open until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
For more information, contact Waller or Fulford at 446-7669.
