ATMORE - Wilma Faye Crawford, 93, of Atmore for 66 years died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 in Atmore.
She was retired from Vanity Fair Mills, born in Wilsonville on Dec. 7, 1915 to the late, David Rufus and Eula Winnie Stamps Spearman.
Her husband, H.I. “Buck” Crawford and one sister, Blanche Farr, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Leon S. Crawford and wife, Joan of Atmore; one daughter, Faye Turner and husband, Chester of Stockton; one brother, Charles Spearman of Columbia; one stepdaughter, Edna Kirksey-Dixon of Stockton; three grandchildren, John Crawford and wife, Renee, of Canoe, Catherine Turner of Glendale, Ariz. and Vickie Harmon and husband, Chris, of Stockton and four great grandchildren, Zander, Gabe and Levi Crawford of Canoe and Alex Harmon of Stockton.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 in Oak Hill Cemetery with Elder Glen Wardrop and the Rev. Glen Whitfield officiating. Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge off all arrangements.
