Organizers of Atmore’s annual Toys For Tots drive are asking Atmore residents and those in surrounding communities to come out tonight and enjoy a meal at Creek Family Restaurant while helping a good cause.
The annual Toys For Tots kickoff will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the restaurant and those coming out to eat are asked to bring some extra cash or an unwrapped toy to aid in the organization’s holiday efforts.
Creek Family management has also stepped up to the plate and is offering $15 buffet dinners including salad and dessert bar with proceeds benefiting Toys for Tots.
In addition to Saturday’s kickoff, drop off locations for toys include Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union, Covington Credit and Main Street Dollar General.
According to Redmond, all the proceeds for the Toys For Tots drive will stay in Escambia and Baldwin counties.
The event is sponsored by Creek Family Restaurant and Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center.
