ATMORE - Thera Mae Hall McGhee, born Nov. 27, 1934 went to be with Christ, Our Lord and Savior on Nov. 20, 2009.
She was a lifelong resident of Atmore.
Her husband, Tony Ray McGhee; an infant daughter; her father, Noah Frank Hall; her mother, Jimmie Lee Hall and five brothers, Carl Hall, Paul Hall, Hugh Hall, Charles Hall and Guy Hall, preceded her in death.
Survivors include, three daughters, Terri Smith of San Antonio, Texas, Toni Dunkleberger and husband, Mike, of San Antonio, Texas and Kathy Holland of Atmore; four grandchildren, Rachel Smith, David Smith, Kathleen Dunkleberger and Joshua Holland; three brothers, Willie Frank Hall and wife, Brenda, of McCullough, Jack Hall and wife, Martha, of Atmore and Fonzie Hall and wife, Linda of Canoe; a very special sister-in-law, Rosemary Scarborough, of Theodore and close and dear family and friends, Sharon and Rodney Pederson and sons, Clayton and Samuel Pederson, of Belleville, Texas.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24 ,2009 from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald McGhee, brother-in-law of the descendant, officiating the celebration of her life. Burial followed in McCullough Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were her brothers, Willie Frank Hall, Jack Hall, Fonzie Hall, a grandson, David Smith, and son-in-law’s Mike Dunkleberger and Mark Holland.
Family received friends from noon until service time on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral home.
