PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Vergie Taylor, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. entered into rest Monday, Nov. 16, 2009.
She was born in Atmore to proud parents, Ola Mae and Grover Kirby. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Herbert Glenn Morris; two sisters, Nettie (Russell) Bell and Hazel (Andrew) Gorum; 10 grandchildren, Alfreda Herron, Carla (Richard) Byrne, Stephen Morris, Mack (Jacque) Morris, Sally Ann (Doug) Blakney, Leigh Ann (Frederick Taft) Morris, Dianne (Shannon) Nelson, Cheryl (Tony) Benefiel, Kendall Morris and Keith Morris and 12 great grandchildren.
Vergie was predeceased by two sons, Emory Cleveland Morris and James Morris and her great granddaughter, Karen Victoria Morris. Vergie was laid to rest alongside her husband, Charles Taylor on Nov. 19, 2009 at Forest Lawn South Memorial Gardens.
