Customers who regularly visit Bargain Bin for their grocery needs will soon be visiting a new location when the Vickey and Josh Black move their store to the location of the Green Apple on Dec. 1.
Currently, the Green Apple is undergoing renovations to make it more suitable to operate as a grocery store after operating as a full on grocer and not just a produce stand as it had been.
Black said she decided to move to the location to decrease costs of owning two buildings.
With the grand opening of the newly refurbished Green Apple a few days away, Black and her husband have been working frantically to finish the store.
She said that most of the work has been completed with the exception of a wall.
With the Green Apple sitting on Main Street next to Dean’s Grill, the location should see a pickup in business with people to different places.
Black said she thinks more people will stop by the Green Apple because it has such a variety of items.
Another perk of her business, that Black wants to remind customers about is the delivery service.
She said she is here to help her customers get their groceries without them having to get out in traffic or weather to get them.
