PERDIDO - Mr. Clatys Woods a native of Crestview, Fla. and a resident of Perdido for many years departed this world and went to glory on Dec. 14, 2009 at his residence at the age of 89.
Pop was known by many as a quiet, hardworking and loving man, his greatest love in the world was his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife Emma Woods; five children, Willie (Joyce) Woods of Ashton, Md., Kathy Welker (Late Larry Welker) of Perdido, Tommy (Dedra) Woods of Perdido, Anthony Barron of Perdido and Johnny Barron of Camden, N.J.; he has nine grandc hildren and three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. today, Dec. 19, 2009 at the morning Dove Baptist Church of Perdido with Church services following at 2 p.m. Pop will be laid to rest at the Morning Dove Cemetery.
Christian Memorial Funeral Home will be directing.
