Sports are always exciting even if the outcome is not exactly what the fans want.
The year 2009 was an up and down year in the sports world for Atmore.
Some teams won it all and others lost everything, but the fans always showed up to cheer them on.
Cal Ripken baseball was in control over the summer, and several games were key in determining the champions.
Visits from athletes and coaches made the city come to life even more.
Twelve months of sports took this city by storm, and gives the fans in Atmore much to look forward to as 2010 has started.
It should be an exciting year, but while it starts enjoy looking back at last year’s important happenings.
