PENSACOLA, Fla. - Barbara B. Floyd, 68, passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2010.
Barbara was a very loving and caring woman. She was formally of Jay and Milton, Fla. but was presently living in Pensacola. Barbara was a CNA for many years and cared for a lot of people. She enjoyed visiting the beach with her animals and especially her dog Summer, her companion of ten years. Barbara was a graduate of Ernest Ward High School and was of the Baptist Faith.
Her parents, James Willard and Lillian Barclay and her son, Vick Floyd preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Velicia “Lesa” Floyd; her sister, Frances Cain and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society.
