ATMORE - Marsetta Olvin “Aunt Micki” Wiggins McIlroy, 85, of Atmore died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 in Pensacola, Fla.
She was retired with U.S. Army Dept. of Defense Civil Service born Sept. 24, 1924 in Bratt, Fla. to the late Wiley c. and Euince Merritt Wiggins.
Her husband, John J. McIlroy Jr.; a son, Roy Faulkner; a grandson, Roy Faulkner Jr.; four brothers, W.C. Wiggins, Marvin O. Wiggins, Burton E. Wiggins and Billy G. Wiggins preceded her in death.
Survivors are two granddaughters, Kay F. Lane and Gaye F. Hamblin; two great grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Jan. 16, 2010 in Godwin Cemetery with the Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Library Fund of Atmore, Godwin Cemetery Fund, Covenant Hospice or your favorite charity.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
