ATMORE - Barbara Jean Hardy Harrell, 73, of Atmore died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at her residence.
She was retired from Chemstrand-Monsanto, born in Atmore on June 6, 1936 to the late William Clinton and Ima Pauline McLain Hardy.
A son; daughter; one brother, William Collies Hardy; one sister, Ruth Hardy and a special friend, Bruce Jernigan, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, William Thomas Harrell and wife, Lauri Ann of Atmore and Daryl Ray Harrell and wife, Deborah Kaye of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Rose Marie Wise and husband, Jerry A. of McCullough and Susan Dianne Rowell and husband, Randy of Monroeville; two sisters, Betty Ann Griffith of Memphis, Tenn. and Claudie Belle Pugh of Try; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three nieces and four nephews.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 from the Springhill Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Ellis officiating. Interment followed in Springhill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Family received friends from 10 a.m. until service time Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at the Church.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
