JDCC enjoys larger classes

An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of “Pinocchio” on Monday, Feb. 1 at Huxford Elementary School’s auditorium at 3 p.m.
All students auditioning should plan to stay for the full two hours.
Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. The musical adaption will be presented to the community and parents on Friday Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Huxford Elementary School Auditorium.
Admission to the performance of “Pinocchio” is $2 for adults; $1 for all students; and children 4 and under get in free.
Rehearsal hours will be announced at the audition however some of the cast members will be required to stay until 6:30 pm. Bus transportation will be furnished
Among the roles to be cast are Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, the Fox and Cat, Candlewick and Crew, Urchins, School Kids, Puppets and Toys. Huxford Elementary School students 1st grade through 6th grade are encouraged to audition.
No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from Feb. 1 through Feb. 5.
