Lady Devils outshoot NHS Lady Chiefs

The Lady Blue Devils ended their regular season with a bang as they crushed the Northview Lady Chiefs 62-33 Thursday night at Northview High School in Bratt, Fla.
The Lady Blue Devils (10-7, 3-4) picked up the huge win with scoring in all quarters.
In the first quarter, the Lady Blue Devils jumped out to a six-point lead outscoring the Lady Chiefs 16-10.
The Lady Blue Devils extended their lead to 15 in the second period as they added 17 points to their score, while their defense held the NHS Lady Chiefs to eight. At halftime, the Lady Blue Devils led 33-18.
Following halftime, the Lady Blue Devils continued to add on to their lead with a strong fourth quarter.
In the third quarter, the Lady Blue Devils scored 13 points with their strong offense, while the Lady Chiefs were held to 11.
The Lady Blue Devils defense held the Lady Chiefs to four points in the final period as their offense scored 16 more points to pick up the huge 29-point victory.
Lady Blue Devils Head Coach John Saxon said every player on his team played a great game.
Lady Blue Devils freshman guard Jasmine Ireland led the Lady Blue Devils with 17 points and 13 steals. She also recorded seven assists, four rebounds and a block.
Junior guard Tiffany Madison added 12 points in the win with three rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Senior Canausha Crenshaw added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. She also had eight assists, six steals and four blocks.
Cha’Nae Lyyles, a junior guard, scored eight points with a team-high 15 steals. Lyles also recorded eight assists and six rebounds.
Senior Jodeci Craft scored seven points, while senior Jasmine Tolbert added six points. Craft also had 10 rebounds, eight steals, four assists and one block. Tolbert had four rebounds, one assist and three steals.

Miller 64
The Lady Blue Devils of Escambia County finished their home slate on a rough note as the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers defeated them 64-44 on Senior Night at ECHS.
The Lady Blue Devisl (9-7, 3-3) got off to slow start and could not recover against the Lady Tigers.
In the first quarter, the Lady Tigers jumped out to a quick lead outscoring the Lady Blue Devils 21-6.
The second quarter was not much different as the Lady Blue Devils were outscored 28-14.
The Lady Blue Devils and Lady Tigers played close in the third quarter as the Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Blue Devils 4-3.
In the final quarter, the Lady Blue Devils outscored the Lady Tigers 21-11.
Lady Blue Devils Head Coach John Saxon said his team lost to a great opponent.

Senior Jasmine Tolbert added eight points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Senior Jodeci Craft scored six points with six rebounds, six assists and five steals.
