ATMORE – Oliver E. Allen, 89, of Atmore died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010 in Bay Minette.
He was retired from the shipyard as a maintenance man, born in Mobile on June 16, 1920.
His parents, three brothers and three sisters, preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth R. Allen of Atmore; two sons, Phillip R. Allen of Jackson, Miss. and Hugh E. Allen of Kermersville, N.C.; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. At Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Reece officiating. Internment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive family and friends today from 1 p.m. Until service time.
