Vehicle crashes into school bus, no injuries

A vehicle crashed into an Escambia County school bus near Escambia County High School Wednesday afternoon just after 3 p.m.
According to officers at the scene, the bus, driven by John Mack Steadham, was traveling north on Presley Street, crossed over McRae Street onto 1st Avenue, when it and a Pontiac Grand Am driven by Ashley Nicole Madison collided. Madison was driving south on 1st Avenue.
The bus, which had approximately 25 students on it, received minor damage. No students or drivers were injured in the accident. The students on the bus were later transferred onto another bus for safety precautions.
The accident is still under investigation.
