Northview hosted its first track meet of the year Thursday with the girls and boys finishing runner-up to Catholic High School out of Penscola.
Northview track team members that placed at the meet include T. Syria third place in the girl’s shot; Brian Knight first place in boys shot; Morris first in discus; Hare second in discus and Pierce third in discus.
In the long jump Lanecia Gomez finished first, while Lauren Cloud finished third. Montaio Mitchell finished third for the NHS boys in the long jump.
Gomez and Cloud finished first and second in the girls triple jump with J. Gibson finishing first in the boys triple jump.
Gomez also finished second in the girls high jump.
Jackson finished first in the 110-meter boys hurdles.
A. Mitchell finished second for the NHS girls in the 100m.
G. Goetter finished second in the girls 400m, while D. Porter finished runner-up in the boys 400 m.
J. Gibson finished second in the boys 300 hurdles.
In the 800m, Goetter finished second for the girls.
Northview also finished econd in the girls and boys 800 relay, 100 relay and 400 relay.
