BAY MINETTE - Mrs. Dora Lee Henry, 73, passed away on Feb. 17, 2010 at North Baldwin Infirmary Hospital.
She was retired from New York as a school crossing guard. She was a member of Great St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the senior child and the Sunday school.
Her parents, Betty and Melvin Henry and a spouse, Jeffery Gardener, preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memories are one son, Claude H. Henry of Jamaica, N.Y.; one sister, Ella M. Mayes of Bay Minette and one brother, Dan Henry of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at the Great St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Stockton with the Rev. P.M. Waller officiating. Interment will be held in Stockton Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at Turner Funeral Chapel.
