With just under two months of preparation left, the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the annual Mayfest celebration set for May 1. The festival will be held at Tom Byrne Memorial Park beginning at 9 a.m.
Shelly Williams, Chamber office manager, said vendor registration is now being accepted.
Vendors wanting booth space are asked to complete applications and have them into the Chamber offices by March 29.
Artists and craftsmen are encouraged to display original work with space preference given to these artisans. A limited number of commercial spaces are available for manufactured items appropriate for the venue.
Food concession spaces are available for $250 per 20 ft. by 20 ft. space with one electrical outlet provided in the space.
The corporate partner of the Chamber is Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union with event sponsors being Winn-Dixie, Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Atmore and Alabama Power Company Williams said.
Williams added committee members are continuing to work on entertainers for the event.
